Main Machine

  • This is the name of machine for the production of various types of concrete products, such as concrete paving stones, blocks, curbs, etc.

  • The principle of operation is most often semi-automatic.

  •  Production capacity varies depending on the machine model.

  • The machine is equipped with a vibration motor, works on the principle of vibration.

  •  Models of the concrete block machine differ in the power of the vibration motor.

  •  The main parts of the machine are the pallet feeding unit, chain, hydraulic and electrical system.

AUTOMATIC BLOCK MAKING MACHINE TECHNICAL INFORMATION

The image shows the raw material feeding point of a concrete block production plant.

Belt Conveyor

  • It is used for the production of concrete, which is used in the production of blocks and paving stones.

  • Raw materials such as inert materials, cement, sand, and water are used in the production of low-deposition concrete.

  • The mixer door opens manually in semi-automatic control systems. Concrete blocks and paving stones making machines are developed according to the requirement and capacity of the mixer.

  • .Generally, the water in the mix is mostly adjusted using a bottle or container.

The image shows a section of a concrete production or mortar mixing facility. A worker is filling the mixing chamber with sand. The focus is on the mixer and the feeding stage used in mortar production.

Mixer

  • It is used for the production of concrete, which is used in the production of blocks and paving stones.

  • Raw materials such as inert materials, cement, sand, and water are used in the production of low-deposition concrete.

  • The mixer door opens manually in semi-automatic control systems. Concrete blocks and paving stones making machines are developed according to the requirement and capacity of the mixer.

  • .Generally, the water in the mix is mostly adjusted using a bottle or container.

This conveyor is used to feed the mixer in concrete block, briquette, or paving stone production facilities. It is a widely preferred raw material transfer equipment by customers.

Skip conveyor or sand belt conveyor (optional)

  • The machine for the production of concrete blocks and paving stones without an automatic weighing system

  • Both the skip conveyor and the sand belt conveyor are optional equipment used to transfer raw materials (inert materials and sand) to the mixer.

  • As a rule, the skip conveyor and sand conveyor belt are not taken together with the mixer, the client often prefers to prepare a small ramp or dig a recess and place the mixer in this recess.

  •  Percentage of the customer's choice of mixer loading method;

  • 35% make a small ramp

  • 15% prefer skip conveyor

  • 30% prefer a belt conveyor for sand

  • 20 % place the mixer in the recess.

These are new or ready-to-use moulds used for the production of block or paving stone. The moulds (which may be block moulds, interlocking paving stone moulds or curbstone moulds) are packaged to protect them from damage.

Moulds

  • Molds for concrete blocks and paving stones consist of two parts: a male and a female.

  • When installing the molds on the machine, the male patr of the mold is attached to the upper vibrator table, the female part of the mold is attached to the lower vibrator table.

  • Most often, molds consist of 3 types

    1. Molds for blocks,

    2. Molds for paving stones

    3. Molds for curbs.

  •  For the production of concrete products of various sizes, it is enough to simply change the mold.

Image: A worker transports freshly produced wet concrete blocks or paving stones onto pallets using a special blue wheelbarrow. This wheelbarrow is used in small-scale block making machines as an economical and practical transportation solution.

Trolleys

  • Concrete blocks, concrete pavers and other concrete products produced by the concrete block machine are transported to the drying area using a hand trolley.

  • The trolley, which costs very much, is designed with the dimensions of concrete products and pallets in mind.

  •  The size of the trolleys differ depending on the model of the concrete blocks making machine.

The image shows a portion of a hydraulic stacking machine used at a concrete block production facility. Its orange main frame is seen stacking freshly produced concrete blocks in layers on a blue chain conveyor system.

Stacker (optional)

  •  The stacker is used for laying wet concrete products that have just been produced on a concrete block making machine (blocks, paving stones, curbs, etc...).

  •  The stacker operates on the principle of a forklift truck to reduce the required labor force.

  • When using a stacker, it is necessary to use pallets with legs, when you are using trolleys using pallets without legs.

  • The number of pallets placed on the stacker must be determined according to the capacity of the forklift.

  •  Forklift operators usually prefer to stack and transport 4-6 rows of pallets at a time.

The image shows large, white metal structures and hoppers belonging to a concrete batching plant or aggregate (sand/gravel) feeding station. This facility is designed to store and feed raw materials into the mixer for the production of construction materials.

Aggregate Bunker

  •  The aggregate hopper is the most important part of the concrete plant.

  •  It is used for storing and unloading various inert materials.

  • Depending on the amount of materials used in production, the volume of the hopper may be different.

  • The bins can be divided into 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 compartments, according to customers ' requests and requirements.

  •  To do this, production capacity and the amount of inert materials used must be known.

  •  St52 wear-resistant sheet metal is used in the production of the bins.

The image shows a large, three-compartment aggregate feed hopper (raw material hopper) from a concrete production or brick plant. Below this hopper is a long conveyor belt used to transport material to the mixer.
Sand conveyor belt
  • It is used to transfer concrete with low precipitation from the mixer to the machine for the production of blocks and pavers.

  • The length and width of the belt are calculated according to the capacity of the mixer and the equipment model.

  •  The electric control panel has "On" and "Off" buttons for draining low-density concrete into the hopper of concrete block making machine.

The image shows a cement silo, or bulk material storage tank, located in an industrial area such as a concrete production facility or construction site. The silo is a large, white structure with a conical base that transfers material to conveyor belts or machinery below.
Cement Silo,
Screw conveyor and Filter
  • The equipment that stores cement is called a cement silo.

  • Silo can be of different volumes and capacities.

  • Equipped with a staircase. Sheet metal is used in its production.

  •  The cement used to make the mortar is extracted from the cement silo and transported to the hopper.

The image shows a control interface that could belong to the PLC Automation System of a concrete block machine such as Conmach.
Automation system
  • Conmach automation system; developed by engineers who specialize in quality in accordance with international standards.

  • Conmach concrete block and paving stone production equipment is controlled by a PLC system.

  • Conmach automation system; allows you to produce the same quality and quantity.

  •  The Conmach automation system has manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic use cases.

  • The system's default settings are set to fully automatic use.

  •  You can track the number of pallets using the PLC automation system.

  •  Remote access to the PLC is possible if an Internet connection is available on the production site.

  • The workflow is tracked. Switching between modes is easy, and Conmach automation system is suitable for easy operator use.

The image shows a large briquette machine inside a concrete block or paving stone production facility. At the front of the machine, freshly extruded concrete blocks (likely interlocking pavers) are stacked on a pallet.
Stacking robot
  • It is used for placing dried products on a pallet for shipment.

  • The stacking robot saves the use of human labor when collecting products, which allows you to reduce waste.

  • Used in the manufacture of the hydraulic system.

  • This type of equipment is designed to run smoothly for many years.

The image shows vertically extending, extremely tall metal shelving structures (galvanized steel) belonging to an automated warehouse or stacking system. These shelving units represent an industrial storage area designed for storing palletized goods, or, in the previous images, concrete block pallets.
Drying chamber
  • Finished concrete products are sent to the drying chamber on pallets.

  • The delivery process is carried out using a forklift.

  • Dry products are also transported to the storage area by a forklift.
